Gorgeous 1962 Austin Healey Sprite Mark II Roadster

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this simply gorgeous 1962 Austin Healey Sprite Mark II Roadster2 Door Roadster with white exterior paint and a like new tan and black interior. It features a 1275cc four-cylinder high compression engine under the hood with a four-speed manual transmission and its original SU carburetors. This little sports car has a soft top, a tonneau cover and great curb appeal, plus it is also very nicely optioned for modern highway driving. It has a mere 71k lifetime miles showing on the odometer as well.

Completely Restored to a Very High Standard

This 1962 Austin Healey Sprite Mark II Roadster is a four-owner lifetime classic that was recently restored to a very high standard. The interior appears to be virtually 100% new (with the original roll bar), yet it was completed largely in the original “roll” style to keep it period correct. The exterior of this classic beauty is also just as nicely restored, and the virtually flawless body is one of the nicest you’ll ever see in person.

Likewise, you probably wouldn’t expect much out of a 65 horsepower engine, but this ’62 Mark II is incredibly fun to drive. It’s low to the ground stance and ultra-light frame makes this feel like a sports car on the open road, and it handles beautifully when prompted at higher speeds. While you certainly wouldn’t call this one “fast”, it feels deceivingly fast nonetheless and it will bring a smile to your face.
