Highly Original 1962 Chevy Corvette Roadster

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this outstanding 1962 Chevrolet Corvette 2 Door Convertible with “Sixty-Six Silver” exterior paint and a black leather interior.  You’ll find what the current owner informs us is the factory 327 cid V-8 engine along with an automatic transmission, and this beautiful sports car is in sensational condition from bumper to bumper after an extensive restoration effort in 2002.  It is also nicely equipped for modern highway driving and this desirable roadster is available at a bargain of a price to encourage a quick sale.

Fully Restored Back in February of 2012

The current owner of this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster purchased it back in 2013 as the 3^rd total owner.  It was originally sold in Livermore, California and has remained in California most of its lifetime, with a full restoration taking place back in February of 2002.  We are informed that this beautiful roadster has been driven approximately 2,000 miles since that time and continuously garaged over the past 16 years. 

Today, the exterior is virtual perfection with flowing body lines, flawless chrome and stainless plus near perfect exterior paint.  This 1962 Chevy Corvette 2 Door Convertible is almost new in appearance from the exterior with a soft top that aligns beautifully and all the right emblems/accessories in place.  The interior is just as clean throughout with fully restored leather seating, a flawless dash and instrument panel and unblemished carpeting.  Even the instrument panels and the stainless glove compartment fail to show any real blemishes, so this classic is ready to be shown immediately.

Additionally, this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster has minimal signs of wear within the engine compartment; although there are a few minor imperfections due to it being in storage.  The next owner may opt to refresh the engine compartment just so it matches the meticulous body and interior, although it’s certainly not necessary to be enjoyed right away.  Out on the open road, this classic roadster has very nice acceleration, tight handling and a superior overall feel- it simply doesn’t feel like you’re driving a 56 year old sports car.
