Completely Original 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

New to our Pleasanton showroom is this breathtaking 1964 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Convertible with Platinum Blue exterior paint and a grey leather interior.  You’ll find a factory 390 cid V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching automatic transmission and this one is completely loaded from the dealership with power steering, power brakes, a power top, power windows and virtually all its original trim/accessories.  This outstanding find is in beautiful condition throughout and you must see it in person to truly appreciate the overall quality- it’s like stepping back in time.

Lifetime One Owner Santa Cruz, California Classic

Here’s something you rarely hear these days- the current owner of this 1964 Ford Thunderbird Roadster purchased it brand new in Santa Cruz, California back in December of 1963 and he has cherished it like a family member over the past 54 years.  In fact, we have service receipts going back decades to show that this beautiful classic has been on the road and enjoyed throughout its life.  Additionally, the engine was rebuilt about 64k miles back and this one was resprayed in the correct factory color almost twenty years ago.  It still looks exceptional though because it has remained garaged and pampered its entire life.

The current owner also informs us that he had the interior seats refurbished some time ago since that was one of the only aspects of this classic that showed its age.  Otherwise though, every aspect of this outstanding 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible are factory original and correct- from the radio to the autometer gauges to the trim work and carpeting.  The engine compartment is also completely stock and shows its age to some degree- which may or may not be desirable for the next owner.  It would not take much to refresh at all though so we definitely appreciate the current owner leaving it as it sits.
